The Bridgwater Lakes Neighbourhood Association would like to extend a very sincere thank you to all that came out and participated in the first annual neighbourhood clean-up effort. It was great to see so many people out showing interest in their community! Take a peak at some photos of the event below.

As we make our way to this last month of summer holidays, the Bridgwater Lakes Neighbourhood Association would like to offer neighbours FREE active living classes. Active August has a line up of activities to encourage everyone to get up and move before we approach the colder months!
Schedule of events as follows:
Yoga with Prairie Yogi, presented by LBS Yoga Wear.
Bring your mat and breathe!
LBS will be on site on August 3, 8, and 17 with their yoga wear available for purchase (cash or credit)

Zumba with Jenny
Ditch the workout, join the party! Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance-fitness class that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. Each class provides a total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility. All fitness levels are welcome. The passionate and explosive Latin and international music rhythms motivate participants to dance their hearts out in a high energy, non-intimidating atmosphere. No dance experience required!
Tuesdays at 10am
Stroller Fitness with Melissa
Total body-toning & strengthening exercises while pushing your baby in the stroller. Both Parent & Child will have a fun outdoor experience! This class will involve a variety of lower & upper body exercises. No other equipment necessary.
Meet at the fountain on Bridge Lake Drive for all activities.
Residents working side by side to build a better community
Despite the cold, the winter months of 2015 were a great time for gathering. With this in mind, and with the encouragement of Janice Lukes (South Winnipeg-St. Norbert Ward City Councillor), a group of community minded individuals began working towards the formation of a neighbourhood association. 2017 has seen the association put in some hard work to support, promote, and enhance meaningful involvement within the community. With the continued goals of bringing our community together and building a safe neighbourhood for all residents, 2018 promises to be an exciting and fun year in Bridgwater Lakes! Expect to see some of the classics that have been delivered in years prior, as well as a few new events. Stay tuned for a calendar of events being organized by the Bridgwater Lakes Neighbourhood Association.
